GUESTBOOK

MEET THE DREAM TEAM!

Antoinette thought a visual would be useful so she matched up some real life actors to be the "prototypes" for her characters.  Most of these talented people have no knowledge of nor do they endorse this project.  It's been asked if Antoinette is trying to cast an eventual movie of her novel here.  Her reply?  "Most, if not all of these actors in question would do a wonderful job of portraying the character they are a prototype for.  I expect the problem would be trying to pay the salaries of such an illustrious group all in one movie.  It would probably be worth it at the box office though.  :o)  Mostly, they're just here for people to enjoy the concept."

Jack Hawk, a member of the English aristocracy, joins immortality to be with the woman he loves, Raven Avante. His happiness ends a century later when he must destroy Raven because she has gone mad. Then another century passes and along comes Destiny Star. They are attracted to each other from the very beginning, but Jack keeps pushing her away. All he can think of is the pain of his loss of Raven. Jack is a quiet man and keeps this pain locked away until one day it explodes… Jack, like his "real life" prototype Adrian Paul, is a tall, well proportioned, handsome man, with brown eyes and hair.  Photo is a stock photo of Mr. Paul I’ve found on sale numerous places, I have no idea who the photographer is.

Adrian Paul’s official web site:  http://www.adrianpaul.net

Lord Charles Hawk, Jack’s father who shares Jack’s passion for life. When he believes that his wife has died in a riding accident, he is ripe for a change… Charles, like his "real life" prototype Pierce Brosnan, is classically handsome with fairly ageless features, with brown hair and brown eyes.  Photo is a promotional shot I found somewhere.  I am unsure who the photographer is.

Lady Samantha Hawk, an experienced horsewoman who was believed to be killed riding a horse. Two hundred years later the family learns the truth, that she is alive and well with her immortal daughter Crystal. Samantha, like her "real life" prototype Jane Seymour, is a classic ageless beauty with long light brown hair and hazel eyes, an enviable figure plus an iron will.  Photo courtesy Ms. Seymour's web site post cards.

Aramis Avante, Raven’s immortal father. Aramis is the oldest of the immortals in this work. He has the wisdom of one who has "been there and done that" a hundred times over. He is very much the scholar and Jack’s mentor. Aramis, like his "real life" prototype Geraint Wyn Davies, has sandy brown hair and brown eyes, and is well proportioned with classic aristocratic features.  Photo courtesy Sony Pictures, a promotional shot for the television series "Forever Knight".

Raven Avante-Hawk, Jack’s immortal mother and the love of his life. Raven is four hundred years old when she meets Jack, two hundred years older than even the strongest women usually survive according to Aramis. Her death is so traumatic to Jack that he does not wish to hear the speculation that the modern world could produce women who were not treated as chattel from the time they were young and therefore make them able to become, as Aramis would put it "true immortals". Raven, like her "real life" prototype Joanna Going, is a classic beauty with long dark brown hair and brown eyes.  Photo is a promotional shot of Ms. Going from the movie "Wyatt Earp".

Pierre Lafleur, Jack’s immortal brother, is a French Aristocrat’s son thrown out of his home because he would rather be an artist than acquiesce to his father’s desires that he live up to the responsibilities of one of his station. Jack and Raven find Pierre face down in the streets of Paris five years before Raven’s demise. Pierre becomes Jack’s mortal "valet" and best friend. Pierre is a complete opposite in a lot of respects from Jack. He is also the glue that keeps things together time after time. He is a complete extrovert and not afraid to live each moment to it’s fullest. After Raven’s death, Pierre confronts Jack with his suspicions about Jack’s true nature and the rest, as they say, is history. Pierre, like his "real life" prototype Brad Pitt, is a handsome, well proportioned man with light brown hair which falls just to his shoulders and hazel-blue eyes.  Photo is a copy of a promotional poster for the movie "Legends of the Fall".

Destiny Star, a beautiful young woman who has known more tragedy and pain in her young life than most people know in a lifetime. Thrown out of her foster home at fifteen because her foster father is a little too attracted to her…one of two incidents which lead Destiny to distrust men. Still, Pierre discovers her waiting tables at a local restaurant and gives her his card. He believes she is exactly what they are looking for as a spokesperson for a new line of cosmetics. Destiny has a lot in common with Jack, she does not allow her pain to show. What does show is that beneath the beauty is an intelligence and compassion that has no limits. Destiny, like her "real life" prototype Charisma Carpenter, is a classic beauty with brown hair and brown eyes, and the even facial features the modeling industry loves.  Photo was found on a long gone fan site of Ms. Carpenter's.  It appears to be a modeling shot, I do not know who the photographer is.

Brandy Rose, Destiny’s sister by circumstance, is a perfect counterpart for the quiet Destiny. Brandy is full of mischief and prone to saying exactly what she thinks. Brandy found Destiny after Destiny had been thrown out of her foster home. Brandy had been thrown out of her own home by her drug addled mother, and is the same age as Destiny. Brandy took Destiny to the restaurant owner with a heart of gold who was allowing Brandy to do clean up work in exchange for a place to stay. The man found he could not refuse Destiny and it is in his restaurant several years later that Pierre discovers Destiny working as a waitress. Brandy, like her "real life" prototype Sarah Michelle Gellar, is a petite beauty with blonde hair and hazel eyes, always bubbling over with energy.  Photo courtesy of Warner Brothers Studios.

Raphael Miranda, Mr. Super Hunk. No further explanation required. The premise within the book is they choose him to be the male lead in the fragrance commercials with Destiny. Raphael, like his "real life" prototype Fabio Lanzoni, is a very well built and handsome male model with blonde hair that falls to his shoulders and blue eyes.  Photo is a promotional shot of Mr. Lanzoni, I do not know who the photographer was.

Jareth DeFranco, a man from the wrong side of the town who lived his mortal life in the 1920’s by his skill with his fists and a gun. When he is gunned down in the line of duty as a bodyguard to a mob boss they leave him in a dumpster to die. His immortal father saw the good in Jareth, and now Jareth is the very best bodyguard available. He will stop at nothing to protect those in his care. After a violent incident at a publicity session Jack hires Jareth to insure Destiny and Brandy’s safety. Jareth becomes very much part of Jack's immortal family. Jareth, like his "real life" prototype Gordon Analla, is a well built, muscular man with brown hair and eyes. He is not exceptionally tall but powerfully built, and absolutely dedicated to his work.  Photo courtesy Gordon Analla.  Photography by John Huseby.

Alan Anderson, a young man brought into immorality by his mad sister to serve as her immortal companion. Alan at first appears backward, almost retarded as his sister orders him around and beats on him. When his sister threatens to kill Destiny Alan musters his courage to contact Pierre in order to save Destiny. Pierre sees that there is more than meets the eye with this young man, who ultimately destroys his sister and joins Jack and Pierre’s household. Alan then faces the challenge of learning how to function as an immortal with an immortal’s strength, with some surprising results. Alan, like his "real life" prototype Patrick Swayze, is a fairly tall and rugged looking man with medium brown hair and brown eyes, who's age is indeterminate but his heart is always in the right place.  Photo is a screen shot from the movie "Dirty Dancing".

Daphne Anderson, psychopath immortal style. Daphne thinks kidnapping Destiny is the key to big money. Daphne is completely immoral and vicious. She keeps her brother with her as a virtual slave, and delights in creating other immortals as warped as she is. Daphne, like her "real life" prototype Susan Gard, has long brown hair and intense blue eyes, a very petite and attractive woman with a strong personality.  Photo courtesy of Susan Gard.

Crystal Monroe, Samantha Hawk’s immortal daughter. Crystal was an exceptionally intelligent mortal and even more so as an immortal. Crystal has lived a relatively sheltered life, with Samantha watching over her. When she meets Victor...fireworks! Crystal, like her "real life" prototype Jami Gertz, is a petite beauty with long brown hair and brown eyes.  I found this on a now defunct Jami Gertz fan site.  It appears to be a still from a movie, I do not know which movie or who the photographer was.

Jami Gertz at "The Movie Times"

Antonio Marraccini is an unfortunate result of Daphne’s love of people who were as warped as she is. When he sees Alan out by himself and acting normal he figures Alan is on to something and he wants in. When he tries to force Alan to tell him what he wants to know, he crosses the line that will get him killed. Antonio, like his "real life" prototype Nicholas Brendon, is a good looking man who does not quite achieve "classically" handsome, with brown hair and brown eyes.  Photo courtesy of Warner Brothers Studios.

Victor Wolfe, a man who storms into the lives of our main characters and then eventually finds some control over his wild disposition. When we first meet Victor we think he is a common criminal. Once again we learn that things are not always what they seem. Victor is a well proportioned man who emanates the feral grace and danger of a wild animal. Victor, like his "real life" prototype Sebastian Bach (the best vocals in the business), is well over six feet tall with an untrimmed mane of blonde hair that falls clear to his shoulder blades and brown eyes.  Photo is from a fan site that is no longer there but I believe it is part of a "Burrn" magazine cover.  "Burrn" is a Japanese heavy metal magazine.

Geordie Johnson, prototype for Edward Gold, an immortal who feels a great deal of responsibility towards the well being of his immortal "family", so much so he runs a crematorium with which he assists in the disposal of less than upstanding immortal citizens.  Photo is a screen shot from the television series "Dracula-The Series".

Jessica Reeves is a young woman who would have died from wounds inflicted by the two young men who mugged her in a parking garage. Charles finds her bleeding to death and sees in her eyes that she has always believed their kind could exist. He takes a chance and brings her into their immortal world. At first Jessica seems to be a perfect addition, but you know what they say….be careful what you wish for. Jessica and Jareth hit it off immediately, but something isn’t right. Jessica never considered all the responsibility that comes with power and can’t cope. Jessica, like her "real life" prototype Katie Holmes (when she was a teenager), is a petite, attractive woman with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Roberto Suarez is an immortal who runs the "Eternal Youth" cosmetic company. Roberto, like his "real life" prototype Ricardo Montalban, is a tall distinguished looking man with steel gray hair and brown eyes, who has a distinct air of intelligence about him.  I found this on some obscure web site, I believe it is a promotional shot for the television series "Fantasy Island".

Wilhelm Vandenberg, new in Immortal Temptation II, Life Beyond Human.  He is an ancient vampire who wants Daphne for himself at any price.  Wilhelm was the warrior of a well to do family.   Now, Wilhelm is quite insane, desperately trying to live like he did hundreds of year ago, where he was the “master” and he created “servants” to do his bidding.  Wilhelm, like his prototype Arnold Schwarzenegger, is a powerfully built man with brown hair and brown eyes.  Photo is a screen shot from the movie "Total Recall".

Antonius Vandenberg, Wilhelm’s brother, introduced in Immortal Temptation II, Life Beyond Human.  Antonius was the intellectual one of the Vandenberg family.  Now, Antonius is the wise one, endowed with centuries of learning and adapting to the world.  Antoinius, like his prototype Hugh Jackman, is a handsome man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Nicolaus Wolfe, new in Immortal Temptation II, Life Beyond Human shows up looking for his brother, Victor.  The brothers have always been close.  Will they find they still have as much in common?  Nicolaus, like his prototype James Marsters, has light blonde hair and blue eyes.  Photo was found on a fan site, anyone who can supply photo credit information, it would be appreciated.
