    Are you ready for the “next generation” of vampires?  Welcome to the world of the immortals—a world where the players must play by a different set of rules within their own society while blending in seamlessly with our own.  The best of them can be as beautiful, moral, and seductive as James Bond ever hoped to be.  The worst of them can be more ruthless than any serial killer who ever lived.  My novel Immortal Temptation takes a fresh new approach to subjects that have fascinated mankind for centuries: immortality and vampires.

    Immortal Temptation is part of a series intended to be at minimum a trilogy.  In book one, the chosen immortals are introduced, developing the characters’ individual treks into immortality, as well as chronicling the primary relationships—both romantic and platonic. In book two, Immortal Temptation 2:  Life Beyond Human, the reader picks up where book one left off, delving even further into the seductive world of the immortals, describing what happens AFTER “happily ever after.”  It also explores some of the more complex relationships immortals would be involved in.  What if a married woman bestowed immortality on another attractive grown man?  This in effect makes him her son, whom she is responsible for and therefore must spend time helping him adjust to his new lifestyle.  Will her husband see this other man as a threat to his marriage or a welcome addition to the family? These types of questions are answered in book two as the story continues and the endless possibilities of true immortality continue to be revealed. Book three, titled Immortal Temptation 3:  Immortal Seduction, is a work in progress.

    In closing, what you will see is modern, “real world” treatment of the immortals complete with lots of laughter, tears, discovery, and loss.  The characters all have very real speech patterns, issues, moral dilemmas, and loyalties.  What you will NOT see is gothic treatment, tired clichés, indiscriminate killing, or demon origins.  These immortals could be your best friend, co-worker, neighbor, or even your lover.
